Fair Recruitment

Code of conduct - fair recruitment, firm standards

We adhere to the guidelines of the WHO and the International Convention on Human Rights.

With our binding Code of Conduct, we at GAC and our business partners are committed to fair recruitment. We pursue a strict “no fee policy” for foreign employees.

Care with principles

We voluntarily undertake to comply with the ILO core labour standards, in particular the general principles and operational guidelines for fair recruitment of the ILO, as well as the IRIS standards of the International Organization for Migration.

The following principles are particularly important to us when recruiting foreign workers:

As part of the recruitment and placement process, business partners shall comply with the laws and agreements of all participating countries in which they operate, including relevant labor and immigration laws.

Our Code of Conduct is binding

Since the German Application Center acts on behalf of its clients and implements the service packages with business partners commissioned by it, who have submitted to this Code, it checks as far as possible whether the objectives, motivations, contractual obligations and conduct of all these parties comply with the requirements of this Code.

Equal rights for all

Furthermore, GAC and the business partners confirm the following: The foreign workers have the right to be recruited to work in Germany through a process that is based on a fair and transparent recruitment process and an appropriate working environment and hiring conditions that meet the assurances made. Workers have the same rights and obligations as their colleagues in Germany and are responsible for fulfilling their obligations to their recruiter and/or employer.

Fair recruitment of care workers

When it comes to implementing our projects, we attach great importance to fairness, ethics and personal responsibility. Our Social Principles are a promise to all candidates, employees and care facilities.

How we deal with violations

GAC and its business partners confirm that no retaliatory action will be taken against anyone who files a complaint or reports a suspected violation of this Code. Employees or other parties who violate this policy will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action. This may include (but is not limited to) disclosure of the violation to government officials, if required by law, agreement or contract, and failure to enter into or termination of contractual relationships with the party in question.
